Meet Something 4 the Weekend!

All our gear is Certified P.A.T. Tested (Electrical Safety Tested) as required by Law (you would be suprised how many bands do not have a certificate!)

We are also fully covered by Public Liability Insurance and have no problem playing within specified Decibel Limits

Take 4 professional musicians, add a large dash of friendship, mix with hundreds of live gigs and a desire to produce the best function band ever, and you have the ingredients which are Something 4 the Weekend

Max, Graham, Brian and Kearin deliver guitar, keyboards, bass and drums through a top quality PA with stage set, drum riser and full lighting rig to ensure a theatre atmosphere and sense of anticipation for the audience.

Max leads the band through a refreshing mix of hits ancient and modern. He has a relaxed style and is equally at ease delivering non-stop danceable segues, or individual songs in concert mode. Musical colours are added by Kearin and Brian who have been singing together for years, and are nicknamed "The Bob-Cat Harmony Twins". Kearin's voice is legendary and his high vocal ad-libs brings smiles to faces on and off the stage. Graham's subtle keys add cream to the performance, never overstated and always spot-on. Don't be surprised to see these four musicians enjoying their work.

Max has worked as a professional musician since his teens and has fronted bands extensively in the UK and Germany. He met Graham in the 70's and worked with him supporting the likes of the Eurythmics and Police. Graham played keys in a number of bands including The Spoons, Rocky Ricketts and Casablanca, and ran a recording studio where he produced albums for a number of household names. They have remained friends ever since.

Kearin started life in a Punk band and as well as recording sessions for John Peel on Radio 1, he has shared the stage with most of the 80's greats, Geldoff, Billy Idol and Sting to name but three. He and Brian have worked together in a number of groups for the last 12 years, and then met Graham a few years ago, who introduced Max to the band.

All four had views on the ultimate function band so experiences were pooled and the result is Something 4 the Weekend, a totally live act with hours of material at Max's disposal. Something 4 the Weekend are a fully self-contained unit and provide background or dance music in their breaks as required. Something 4 the Weekend will fill your dance floor and add success to your function. We guarantee you will love it!
